Share Instagram photos to your brand’s Facebook page

Instagram is a fun and quick way to share pictures with people you know. Now while the application itself is dead simple to use, it is not readily apparent how to share pics for one of your Facebook pages (brands) although this is just as easy to do:

You can choose to post to your brand’s Facebook page by accessing the Profile tab in the application then choosing > Edit sharing settings > Facebook > Post to.

Here you will see a list of Facebook pages of which you are an admin that you can choose to post to. If you are accessing this option the first time you will need to approve Instagram access to your Facebook pages. Presto, you’re all set up and ready to go.

Especially for bands, events or roadshows this is a very neat and simple to use feature to give your fans a look behind the scenes.

An alternative to using the native app support is to try Facebook applications such as http://instafb.com/ which also seem to do a good job. Also don’t forget about the Instapress plugin for WordPress if you are looking for a quick and easy way to integrate Instagram in your WordPress blog.

Instagram may have over 4 million users and is growing steadily, but that doesn’t mean all your fans are using it (currently it’s a iOS only). So make sure you use all possibilities Instagram gives you to share across all social networks!

Any of you have further Instagram tips that are worth knowing about?

I don’t see this option. Was this posted before they did the big change? I can’t remember. Help!

The option is still there. It’s in the Instagram application on the iPhone, you have to click on the “profile” button and then go to the “Edit sharing settings” option, the rest should be clear…

    Good luck!

Sorry, no clue about the Android version, I’m on iPhone…
